Bed in Grand Hotel Oriente
The roof terrace for breakfast and drinks was a real highlight, amazing panoramic views of Napoli. The food was also excellent- high quality and delicious. Room service also great- we were so tired after walking about 15k steps every day and having a tired year old meant that we ordered room service in the evenings and it was delicious fresh food of the highest standards ao we didn’t feel we were missing out by not going to a restaurant. Room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed which was huge! Although we overlooked a busy road the rooms are well sound proofed so no noise disturbance at night. This is a great position near Via Toledo, Spanish quarter and historic centre. Having said that- you can’t be close to everywhere as Napoli is huge so be prepared to get taxis too ( buses too big for most streets)

Chose this hotel as we were using Naples as our base and also because of its location, 12 minute walk to the ferry and cruise liner port, 100 metres to the underground network (Toledo) just off the main shopping street. Hotel room was spotlessly clean, breakfast was the usual buffet style with a very good choice to cater for all tastes, which was on the top floor with an outdoor terrace with a great view of Naples, the bar is also on this floor and also shares the same terrace. We did not use the restaurant for dinner as there are so many great restaurants around the area at very reasonable prices, but did take a look at the menu and it seemed a good choice.

We booked this at the last minute as our travel plans changed. The staff were lovely and provided us a bottle of champagne on arrival for celebrating our honeymoon. The hotel is in a great location, pretty much walking distance to most main areas. The room was large which was great, however the bathroom was outdated and in need of a refresh. The shower drain didn’t drain quick enough so water filled the shower straight away and didn’t drain until after you turned it off. Breakfast is ok, not many options but manageable. Overall, a good 2 night stay and I would stay again.

We had the most wonderful stay in Napels for our anniversary thanks to the amazing assistance of Michele. He made sure our stay was absolutely unforgettable! The location of the hotel is superb and the friendliness of the staff heartwarming. The cleaning ladies made sure our room was a little palace every day again. The restaurant at the top floor was a treat to have our breakfast at. Thank you Michele, Oriana and all other staff for this wonderful stay. We will for sure be back!
